Every project takes on a personality of its own – this 22,000 seat Banc of California Soccer stadium is no different! A strict construction schedule, tight budget and highly customized products and lockers often felt like makings for a perfect storm; but the end result was just – PERFECT. This project showcases L2 Specialties’ wide variety of products, specialized manufacturers and skilled installation. We enjoyed working together with Gensler on their fabulous designs and incredible architectural results. PCL Construction did a fantastic job as General Contractor bringing this project together.
Most notable of our work – the Dormakaba HSW sliding glass partitions featured at all 35 of the private suites. Each system has its own unique design and function – no two systems are alike. The frameless glass panels give unobstructed views to the action on the field, and the flexibility of the sliding systems allows them store out of sight, letting in the gorgeous Southern California weather. Each glass panel was fabricated with an energy efficient film, keeping the temperatures cool and stable in the suites. At the ribbon cutting ceremony we had the pleasure of seeing the player’s reaction to their finished product. Goal!
The Players and Coaches locker room are outfitted with custom wood lockers featuring high end finishes, USB charging station, ventilated shoe storage compartments, L.E.D lighting, jersey display compartment with LED lighting and a keyless safe for valuables – not a detail was missed!
With a 55 STC sound rating and custom vinyl finish, the Moderco Signature 842 operable partition beautifully divides the expansive Green Room. Beyond the turf and behind the glass L2 Specialties also provided metal lockers, fire extinguishers and cabinets, and AED life saving devices.
